Store Hours

Hours live under Settings → Hours. They control when customers can order, which pickup times are offered, and what the AI phone agent says if you use one.

Getting these right matters more than it sounds: wrong hours either turn away business you could have taken, or accept orders you can't make.

Setting your week

  1. Go to Settings → Hours.
  2. For each day, set the times you're open.
  3. Mark days you're closed as closed.
  4. Save.

Saving replaces the whole week at once, so review every day before saving rather than expecting a per-day save.

Split shifts

A day can have any number of intervals. A restaurant that opens for lunch, closes, and reopens for dinner adds two intervals to that day:

Tuesday 11:00 – 14:30
          17:00 – 21:00

Customers can order during either window and not in between. Don't paper over a split by entering 11:00 – 21:00 — you'll take orders during your break.

Closing after midnight

A closing time earlier than the opening time is understood as closing the next day:

Friday 17:00 – 02:00

That's Friday 5pm to Saturday 2am, not a mistake and not zero hours. Enter it exactly that way.

Store hours vs kitchen hours

Two separate schedules:

  • Store hours — when you're open and taking orders.
  • Kitchen hours — when the kitchen can actually cook.

They're usually the same. They differ when the kitchen closes before the room does — a bar serving drinks after the kitchen shuts.

Kitchen cutoff before close

Settings → Ordering → Kitchen cutoff before close stops new orders a set number of minutes before closing.

If you close at 21:00 with a 30-minute cutoff, the last order is accepted at 20:30. Without this, someone orders at 20:58 and staff stay late.

Set it to roughly your longest realistic ticket time.

Timezone

Set your timezone under Settings → Restaurant. Everything time-related depends on it — hours, pickup slots, scheduled orders, and printed timestamps.

Check this if orders appear at strange times or the store seems closed when it's open.

Holidays and one-off closures

For a one-off closure, turn off Accept online orders under Ordering Settings and set a closed message explaining why. Turn ordering back on afterwards.

Set a reminder to switch it back. A restaurant that's been "closed" online since a holiday three weeks ago is a real and common failure.

Where customers see this

Your hours appear on your ordering page, drive which pickup times are offered, are read by the AI phone agent, and are published as structured data so search engines can show your hours.

That last point makes accuracy worth the effort — wrong hours in a search result sends people to a locked door.
